About Павло
Everyone who hesitated to practice piano online has a great opportunity to book my lesson! I started teaching in 2011, when I was a student of Kyiv National Music Academy, Ukraine. Since then I've worked as a private piano teacher, accompanist at violin class and a dancing studio. During the last 8 years my main job is teaching children and adults piano and music theory.
A developed online methodology for working with two cameras and all the necessary demonstration of educational materials on the screen. You don't waste time on the road, but attend a lesson from anywhere on the planet. Instead, you get the knowledge you need to improve your musical skills, whether it's your first time with a musical instrument or you've already played tons of notes. See you on my lessons!

With my students we are working on everything you wish: sight-reading, aural training, music theory, solfege, history of music and, of course, piano playing itself. Also I can prepare you for the ABRSM or Trinity exams as well.
- how to impress the listener with your performance?
- why is music the most universal art that is admired all over the world?
- what do you need to know and be able to do before a public performance?
- are there any works other than Beethoven's "Moonlight" sonata? :)
- how to play with relaxed wrists and shoulders?
- how to get a good sound from your piano?
... and a lot more professional tricks to make you play amazing.
And it doesn't matter if it's classical music, a movie soundtrack or a piano arrangement of your favorite song. Don't have sheet music? I can write it for you!

Perfect!
Perfect! Pavlo has been working with my son Daniel (7 years old) for about 8 months. The progress is amazing - second place in Elite Music International Competition at Carnegie Hall, first place in the 2025 Young Artist Piano Competition, second place in the Miclot International Competition.
Pavlo has a remarkable ability to connect with children—offering support, sparking interest, and inspiring motivation. His lessons take place in a calm, friendly, and genuinely positive environment, where Daniel feels encouraged to play with joy and pursue learning enthusiastically.
Pavlo's English is excellent, mastery of music terminology and theory is outstanding.
Pavlo, we sincerely thank you for your professionalism, enthusiasm and look forward to working with you for many years ahead! You are a wonderful teacher and an interesting, kind-hearted individual.- Dear Oksana, your son has good basic skills and shows a desire to enhance them. I appreciate his eagerness to take my guidance and his overall enthusiasm for playing piano. We had a bright introductory lesson and I look forward to many exciting musical experiences together!Павло's response :
Perfect!
Perfect! I don't have enough good words to say about our piano teacher, Pavlo Lysyi!
My son is twelve years old and playing piano since he was six. We found Pavlo while looking for extra help while preparing for a major concert.
I sent Pavlo a video of my son playing in preparation for our first online class. Imagine my surprise when Pavlo asked if Daniel is complaining about hand pain, just looking at the video. Hand pain was a major issue for my son in preparation for this piece.
Pavlo was able to address the issue. He helped a lot with the mood and the dynamics as well. Pavlo has a deep understanding of the body mechanics of piano performance. He is very knowledgeable about music theory and music history. He can keep my teen fully engaged for the length of a one-hour lesson and motivated to practice after.
I hope that Pavlo will be able to continue to teach Daniel for years to come. I am sure of his ability to assist Daniel to reach his musical goals.- Lessons with Daniel are attractive and involved enough. He is interested in improving his performance and hope we will achieve the goals very soon!Павло's response :
Perfect! Pavlo was very understanding and working with Alexa in her experience. He is very knowledgeable and positive .
- It was nice and involved enough. Hope for a long cooperation!Павло's response :

This piano teacher is very kind and caring to his students, I recommend Pavlo to all of you who want to become a real piano pro. Pavlo can teach you a lot of things except piano, he can teach you music theory easily and if you are very interested, then he can even find time to teach you Ukrainian language.
View more recommendations
