About Jack
My name is Jack Ayers. I have recently finished studying the commercial music degree at Massey University. I am a music producer/Dj. My main project is CHUNGA alongside my best friend Julian & we make Dubstep, Drum&Bass, Halftime & all things bass really. We have released with artists like ASHEZ, & Have put out music with NZ label Norman Foreman. We play shows & festivals all over NewZealand. I also make house music under the alias “Something About Hammocks” & I started a Jazz group last year for my final uni project titled “Late Night Witness”. Basically I am in love with all things music. I also work in music promotions putting on events & organising shows with a company called “Froth” we put on multi genres events throughout nz. I have also worked on the music & sound fxs for a NZ video game called “Neo Witch” alongside the company SuperNatural.

I have taught a few different people the basics of music production using Ableton, although I also know my way around Logic Pro. I will provide a beginners service that details all the basics within Abelton so that the students are able to create any style of music they desire. Beyond that I can go into a lot more advanced services in terms of, sound design, digital synthesis, mixing, fxs, vst knowledge, drum design. I am well versed in all of these areas. Particularly electronic dance music.
