About Christy
Hi! I’m [Your Name], and I’m passionate about helping students develop strong reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. With a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University and experience guiding and advising others in professional settings, I bring both expertise and patience to one-on-one learning. While I am new to tutoring and formal teaching, I have worked a lot with kids before! I have been a small group leader for high school girls, a camp counselor for middle schoolers, and an Assistant Soccer Coach for a JV Women's College team (I previously played varsity). I know how hard it can be to try to adapt your learning style to a teacher, so I value teaching concepts in different ways, depending on how each learner engages the world. I have led small groups of high school girls, been a camp counselor to middle schoolers, and even coached soccer at the collegiate level.
