About Yeny
Yeny Ferreras, a Dominican-born artist, embarked on her artistic journey from childhood, initially expressing her creativity through fashion design for dolls. Upon migrating to the United States, she explored graphic design and photography, culminating in her earning an Associate's degree in Digital Arts and Science from Bronx Community College in 2017 and a Bachelor's in Arts from The City College of New York in 2018. Yeny's passion for education led her to become an adjunct lecturer at Bronx Community College, where she imparts her expertise in digital photography. Balancing her commitment to teaching with freelance work, Yeny continues to evolve as both a skilled designer and accomplished professional photographer.

This course on digital photography focuses on the fundamental aspects of capturing an image, including lighting, color correction, and composition. Students will explore composition and lighting in both a basic studio setting and in the field. Additionally, students will learn various techniques for editing, cropping, and other photographic processes. To participate in this course, students will need access to a digital camera or a mobile device.

Never took photography lessons with her, however she took photos of me at Bronx Community college years ago. I would definitely recommend her. She’s been in photography for over 10 years I believe.
