About Chris
My name is Chris Panameno I am a recent graduate of Cal State Northridge with a focus on Jazz Studies. My passion for music began at birth with a father who played piano and bass and a mother who sings. I have been playing piano since the age of 4 and saxophone since the age of 10. Starting off playing in church I began to gain experience playing on stage and envisioning a pursuit of music. I continued playing mainly Sax through school but piano had always been my first love. I would eventually find myself studying Jazz at the University to further unlock and develop my passion.

My teaching Method consists of various warm up exercises to analysis of musical pieces. A typical lesson can be broken in 3 segments 1st being warm up material, 2nd being Weekly assignment from book or given homework, 3rd being going over a "fun" song to learn, or transcribing segment. I approach music with an emphasis in ear training giving you mobility and access to inner musician. Lessons can be adjusted to liking of beginner to college level student.
