About Ryan
I believe myself to be a very patient teacher and quite laid-back, but serious when it comes to my student's progress. I am quite a big fan of anime and manga as well and is willing to share my knowledge on how to fluent in Japanese.

- Currently a student in USYD pursuing a bachelor honors degree in mechatronics engineering
- Previously studied in Japan and also applied to the University of Science Tokyo

- Have worked a part-time job in Japan in Narita airport. Translated from English and Chinese to Japanese for foreign visitors and vice versa.

- My teaching philosophy involves a lot of input initially but will transition to output when the student is more comfortable
- I will have a structured lesson, however can change depending on the students needs
- A typical lesson will last about 1 hour but the length of each lesson is negotiable
- A normal lesson will start with memorizing vocabulary and learning new grammar, followed by reading and listening
- For beginners, will start off by teaching hiragana and katakana followed by simple grammar and vocabulary
- For advanced learners, will involve advanced N1 and N2 grammar and vocabulary followed by novel reading and speaking
- Lessons are for any age and any level
- I will guarantee a very efficient learning experience
