About Georgina

Hello, my name's G. I have successfully instilled confidence in students through their GCSEs, leading them to better exam marks. I am invested in, and responsive to my students' needs.

I also proofread. If you require this service and expert guidance on a formal document, like CVs, cover letters, manuscripts, business plans, then please get in touch.

- Two degrees
- Five years of journalism experience
- Bespoke, tailored lesson plans for your child's/your objectives
- Many satisfied parents and students

About the lesson

My passion for English is not only infectious, but my teaching style is designed to challenge students' critical thinking. Students need to have different skills based on their exams and goals: developing an awareness of mark schemes and what the examiner wants, how to adapt their writing style and tone to different audiences, or how to retain their true beliefs while writing to persuade.
My students deserve to feel empowered and in control of their learning. How scholars see a text is deeply personal, and I aim to encourage their emerging style, while keeping in mind their learning goals.
Whether it's contemporary literature, poetry, Shakespeare - the world's yours when you continue reading!
