About Sabrina
I am a graduate of Cornish College of the Arts with a BFA in Art, where I developed a strong foundation in both contemporary art practice and creative problem-solving. My primary focus is acrylic painting, which has become the core of my studio work, allowing me to explore color, composition, and narrative through a versatile and expressive medium.
Alongside painting, I have built a broad set of artistic skills that support my practice and teaching. My experience spans drawing, mixed media, installation basics, and general studio techniques, giving me a flexible “tool belt” of approaches I can draw from depending on the project or learning environment.
My training at Cornish also emphasized collaboration, critique, and working within a creative community, which has shaped how I approach both making and teaching art. I enjoy sharing knowledge in a way that is accessible and encouraging, while still helping others build real technical skills and confidence in their own creative voice.
Overall, I see myself as both a dedicated painter and a well-rounded artist who is always expanding my practice and staying open to new mediums, methods, and ideas.

Students would want to take classes with me because I bring a combination of strong technical art skills, a fun and engaging teaching style, and a very approachable, personable presence. I focus on making art feel exciting, accessible, and low-pressure, while still encouraging real skill development and creative growth.
I aim to be the kind of teacher I wish I had when I was younger, someone who makes students feel seen, supported, and genuinely excited to create. I want to be a new, relatable face in emerging arts education, especially for students who may not see themselves reflected in traditional art spaces.
My goal is to make learning art something students look forward to, not just for the final product, but for the process, exploration, and confidence they build along the way. I want to be a teacher who helps kids discover their own creativity and feel inspired to keep making art beyond the classroom.
