My approach to tutoring is student-centred, practical and focused on helping learners develop a strong understanding of concepts rather than simply memorising information. I begin by identifying the student’s current level, strengths and areas that need improvement, and then adapt my teaching style to suit their individual learning needs.
My teaching methodology combines clear explanations, worked examples, questioning, demonstrations and practical applications. For Physics, I particularly like to connect abstract concepts to real-life situations so that students can understand how and why things work. I also encourage students to ask questions and explain concepts in their own words, as this helps me assess their understanding and identify areas that need further explanation. Where appropriate, I use practice questions and past-paper exercises to build confidence and improve exam technique.
A typical lesson lasts between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the learner’s age, level and learning objectives. I usually structure lessons with a brief review of previous work, introduction of the new topic, guided practice, independent questions and a short recap at the end.
I have a BSc in Civil and Environmental Engineering and experience teaching and mentoring students in STEM-related subjects. I have also taught children and young learners through educational programmes, including teaching coding and digital skills. My experience has helped me develop patience, clear communication and the ability to explain challenging concepts in a simple and engaging way.
My lessons are suitable for children and young people, particularly students at primary and secondary school level who need support with Physics, Mathematics and other STEM-related subjects. I can support learners who are building their foundational knowledge as well as those preparing for tests and examinations. I aim to create a friendly, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing confidence in their abilities.

I highly recommend Abdulqadir as a tutor. He taught my younger siblings, and they had a very positive experience learning from him. He is patient, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain concepts clearly, making it easier for students to understand and build confidence. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and effective tutor.
