About Chantal
As a Tutor, I am passionate about fostering a love for literature and creative writing while helping students develop the skills they need to succeed. I’ve always believed that literature is a window to understanding the human experience, and creative writing offers an incredible space for self-expression and exploration. My goal as a tutor is not just to teach but to inspire students to engage with these subjects in meaningful ways, allowing them to see the world with a more critical eye and a more creative mind. I chose to become a tutor because I want to help students unlock their potential. I find great joy in working one-on-one with students to discover what inspires them and then guiding them to find their voice. Whether it’s exploring the themes in a piece of literature or developing a compelling narrative, I believe every student has something unique to offer, and my job is to help them discover and cultivate that talent. What drives me to teach is the opportunity to make a positive impact. I aim to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel confident to ask questions, express their ideas, and take risks with their writing. I’m committed to helping students grow both academically and personally, building their confidence while also nurturing their creativity. For me, teaching is not just about imparting knowledge; it’s about creating a lasting, empowering experience that stays with them long after our sessions.
