My Approach to Tutoring and Teaching Techniques and Teaching Methodology: My teaching approach is student-centred, aiming to engage students and foster a deep understanding of biology and basic science. Visual Aids: Diagrams, models, and videos help illustrate complex concepts. Problem-Solving: I encourage critical thinking by presenting problems and guiding students through the process of finding solutions. Assessment and Feedback: Regular quizzes and assignments help track progress, and I provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. Typical Length of a Lesson: A typical lesson lasts between 60 to 90 minutes. This duration allows for an in-depth exploration of topics, interactive activities, and time for questions and discussion. Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor: I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and have several years of experience in both academic and practical settings. My experience as a Research Assistant provided me with a solid foundation in scientific research and analysis, which I bring into my teaching. Additionally, I have been actively involved in tutoring children at my church, which has honed my ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable way.
