About Rohan
A passionate architecture educator with a deep love for the art and science of building design. In my architecture classes, I strive to create an immersive and interactive learning environment where students can explore, question, and innovate in the realm of design. I believe in a hands-on approach to teaching, so I incorporate studio-based projects, site visits, and collaborative workshops into my lessons to give students firsthand experiences with architectural concepts.
I emphasize critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills, guiding students through the process of conceptualizing, planning, and presenting their designs. By fostering a culture of experimentation and exploration, I aim to empower students to think like architects and approach design challenges with ingenuity and resilience.
Additionally, I highlight the interdisciplinary nature of architecture, showing students how architectural principles intersect with fields such as engineering, sustainability, and social sciences. Whether we're studying architectural history, building technology, or urban design, I strive to make architecture relevant, accessible, and inspiring for my students.
My goal as an architecture teacher is not only to help students master the technical skills of the profession but also to cultivate a deep appreciation for the impact of architecture on society and the environment. Through personalized instruction, hands-on experiences, and a supportive learning environment, I aim to inspire the next generation of architects, designers, and visionaries to shape a more beautiful, equitable, and sustainable world.
