About Sienna
I’m a Grade 12 percussion student continuing university music studies. I offer structured, supportive 30-minute beginner lessons, helping students build confidence, develop rhythm and technique, and enjoy learning percussion in a fun, motivating, patient, and encouraging environment. I have 2+ years experience coaching children, as well as 1 year percussion specific tutoring experience.

Teaching Approach:
I offer personalized 30-minute percussion lessons for beginners, focusing on rhythm, technique, and reading basic notation, while keeping lessons fun and engaging.
Typical 30-Minute Lesson Plan:
1. Warm-up & Technique (5–7 min): Basic hand/foot exercises and grip/posture
2. Rhythm & Notation (5 min): Learn simple rhythms, timing, and reading music
3. Beginner Repertoire Practice (15–18 min): Work on simple patterns and beginner pieces, developing coordination and musicality
4. Review & Practice Goals (2–3 min): Recap and set small achievable goals for the week
