About Jacqueline
I have tutored a variety of academic subjects for over 12 years to over 50 students. Chemistry, biology, algebra are a few examples. Many of the students I tutored gained confidence in dealing with challenging concepts and in many cases improved several letter grades.

I have always had a fondness for all things science. It must have been the daily feedings of science fiction films as well as a fascination for the diversity of life on this planet. Armed with a questioning mind and a love for learning I subsequently pursued and completed both a BS and an MS in Biology. I took a detour in my career aspirations and it was during this time that I realized that I had an aptitude for tutoring and helping students master mathematical and complex concepts that were confounding them. I am a hands on tutor for algebra, chemistry, and biology for students at various stages of academic achievement. I work the problems from beginning to end ensuring that the student understands the logical progression of steps. Then, I have the student complete the problems with guidance along the way as to instill confidence in their ability to tackle the assigned problem.
