Preparing for the GMAT or GRE Quant section can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re aiming for a competitive score. I’m here to make the process simpler, more structured, and more effective.
I am a 2019 graduate of Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business (MMS) and have been tutoring and mentoring students since 2012. I scored 47/50 in GMAT Quant and have always had a strong command of Mathematics and quantitative problem-solving. Over the years, I have refined my teaching approach to focus on concept clarity, efficient problem-solving, and test-taking strategy. I believe that most students are capable of performing exceptionally well in Quant once they understand the underlying concepts and learn how to approach different question types strategically.
I particularly enjoy working one-on-one with graduate and Master’s-level students, as every student has different strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. Our sessions will be tailored to identify your specific challenges, strengthen your fundamentals, and develop the skills needed to solve questions accurately and efficiently under time pressure.
Whether you are struggling with certain Quant topics, returning to Mathematics after several years, or already scoring well and looking to reach a top GRE or GMAT Quant score, I can help you build a focused preparation plan.
My goal is not simply to teach you formulas—it is to help you understand the logic behind the questions, recognize patterns quickly, avoid common traps, and develop confidence in your problem-solving abilities.

My teaching style is different from the modern approach of expecting students to learn primarily through textbooks and self-study. I believe strong fundamentals must come before challenging problems.
Initially, I provide detailed, step-by-step guidance to ensure you understand the core concepts and build a solid Quant foundation. Once that foundation is in place, I gradually increase the difficulty, challenge you with tougher GRE/GMAT-style problems, and help you develop the confidence and independence needed on test day.
Every student I work with receives access to my personally developed notes, practice questions, problem sets, and study material, compiled through more than a decade of tutoring experience.
I believe consistent, focused practice can produce exceptional results. In return, I expect hard work, patience, and commitment from my students.
My approach is simple: build the foundation, master the concepts, practice strategically, and become an independent problem solver.
