About Iris
With 38+ years of teaching experience and more than 18340 students successfully mentored, I have dedicated my career to helping aspiring violinists achieve excellence in music. My experience spans beginner instruction, advanced performance coaching, and artistic mentorship across diverse musical traditions.
Many former students have excelled in orchestras, competitions, concerts, and professional musical careers. Their accomplishments continue to inspire my passion for music education and artistic development.
I believe violin playing cultivates creativity, focus, and emotional expression while fostering a lifelong appreciation for music. My teaching philosophy emphasizes technical mastery, confidence, and meaningful artistic experiences.

Violin is taught through a structured and expressive methodology that balances technical precision with musical creativity. Lessons cover bowing techniques, posture, intonation, rhythm training, scales, sight reading, and music theory while adapting to learners from beginner to advanced levels. Every lesson is designed to develop confidence, discipline, and artistic interpretation.
Students actively engage in repertoire studies, ear training, assignments, ensemble practice, and performance preparation that strengthen musicianship and expressive abilities. Personalized instruction helps learners refine technique while discovering their unique musical voice.
Advanced instruction explores vibrato, advanced bowing methods, orchestral performance, interpretation, and stage artistry. Learners develop professional-level skills that support examinations, concerts, competitions, and lifelong artistic growth.
