About Alicia

◘ A graduate of the Sorbonne (Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees), I have been teaching 3 languages since 2018.
◘ I have helped many students to pass their GCSE exam with flying colours!
◘ I also work at a school that organises summer camps to help students prepare for the French GCSE.
◘ I currently have over 3,000 hours of private tuition under my belt, the majority of which is online.
◘ I also speak Spanish and I’m learning Italian.
◘ I've also created an Instagram page, dedicated to learning French and more about the French culture!
◘ My interests are:
Books (essays and novels, such as Karine Giébel's or B.A. Paris's psychological thrillers), psychology, spirituality, animals and nature, vegetarianism/veganism, drawing, painting and crafts, esotericism (tarot, astrology…), personal development, board games and card games, sports (rock climbing, pole dancing, flexibility training, running, badminton, surfing…), mountains, piano, travelling (backpacking and youth hostels, what a blast)... Overall, I’m a curious and open-minded person, no matter the topic!

My classes are for you if you’re taking the French GCSE and want to stack all the odds in your favour to get a 9!
My method in a nutshell: challenging yet motivating lessons, because speaking French is a little bit of vocabulary and grammar… and a lot of self-confidence!
Forget the language classes you have in school: you’ll learn in the most fun way possible, because that’s how we learn best (and it’s not just me saying that—it’s neuroscience!)
/!\ However: Plan to set aside time to study between our sessions. (You'll have additional material to continue making progress in autonomy)
Bonus: with my approach, you won’t just be learning French. You’ll learn how to learn effectively, which will give you greater independence and skills that you can use in a whole host of other areas/school subjects.

I’ve been taking French lessons with Alicia for a year and I look forward to them every week. She quickly assessed my level and figured out a teaching style that suits me down to the ground.
