About Hannah
In 2020, I completed my Master's degree in-person through VCU (College of Health Professions) and went on to obtain my Post-graduate certificate in Long-Term Care Administration from D'youville College of Buffalo. I am currently completing a full-time 6-month internship under the title of "Administrator-in-Training" at a local nursing home. Once this internship is complete, I will qualify to test for my official license in nursing home administration (LNHA).
My greatest goal is to inspire my students to welcome a new perspective on aging. Perhaps many people do not value our elders in a way that reflects their dignity and continued importance in society. I want to invite open-minded scholars to take the deep dive with me into the following questions:
What does aging mean to you?
What can we expect as we age?
What can we control as we age?
Why and how does the aging process occur differently for some people?

In one of my tutoring courses, you will find that my core teaching values are centered around patience, repetition, and flexibility. If my students are coming into my sessions with a need for clarification on specific topics, I can and will adjust my lesson plan to fit the needs of the students so that they can get the most out of our time together.
I am looking to tutor students beginning from high school age, all the way to somebody who is studying for their Master's degree. Classes will be guided by a relevant visual presentation, as I have found that some learners retain information better if they can see examples that are being taught. I will invite as many questions and opportunity for discussion as possible. Suggestions and requests are always welcome! These sessions will be to help make my students the best gerontologists that they can be.
