About Kassandra

As an academically high-achieving, quadrilingual scholar holding a German A-Level, a Grade 9 at GCSE, and an official offer to study BA International Relations with a Year Abroad at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), I bring exceptional linguistic expertise and academic rigour to every lesson.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology focuses on building immediate spoken confidence while systematically demystifying German grammar rules. Having mastered multiple languages myself, I understand exactly how to break down complex language structures into digestible, logical steps. I utilise active recall techniques, immersive conversational practice, and targeted vocabulary building. For GCSE students, I heavily incorporate structural phrasing analysis and past-exam techniques to ensure students know exactly how to maximise their marks under high-pressure testing environments.

Lessons are standardly 60 minutes long. This allows for a 10-minute active recall review of previous material, 30 minutes of introducing and practising new grammatical concepts or vocabulary, and a 20-minute focus on spoken fluency, interactive dialogue, or exam-style question drills.

I am an academically high-achieving, quadrilingual scholar fluent in German (B2), English, Ukrainian, and Russian. I hold an official undergraduate offer to study International Relations with a Year Abroad at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). I have a proven track record of teaching, having spent a year volunteering as a Bilingual Mentor, specifically coaching Year 11 students through their GCSE German curriculum. Having achieved the highest possible Grade 9 in my own German GCSEs, I possess an intimate, up-to-date understanding of current UK examination board structures, mark schemes, and common student pitfalls.

Lessons are specifically designed for beginners of all ages looking to build a rock-solid foundation, as well as Key Stage 3 and GCSE students (Ages 11–16) who want to boost their predicted grades, master complex grammar, and sharpen their spoken fluency for their official speaking exams.
