About Nadine
I have tutored students all my life. Currently, I am teaching two children German and it has been so fun!
For myself, I wish I could just hold a conversation with someone in the language I am learning or learn the cultural phrases school always fails to teach. That is what I am here for! I have got your back. German speakers can be prideful about their language but I am here to help you impress them!

I am a native German speaker, but I am also currently learning another language myself. This gives me a personal understanding of what it feels like to learn a new language, make mistakes, forget words, and slowly become more confident. I also currently teach children, so I understand the importance of adapting lessons to different ages, learning styles, and personalities.
!! I believe that making mistakes is an important part of learning a language, so I encourage students to speak and try things without worrying about being perfect. !!
I welcome students of all German levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. I can adapt lessons to different ages, goals, and learning styles, including:
Beginners learning German for the first time
Intermediate and advanced students who want more speaking practice
Children and young learners
Students preparing for school or university
People learning German for travel, work, or everyday communication
A typical lesson includes a combination of:
-Grammar exercises to build a strong foundation
-Listening practice to improve understanding of natural German
-Conversation and speaking practice to build confidence
-Reading and writing exercises when appropriate
-Questions and activities based on the student's interests and goals
For students who enjoy learning outside of lessons, homework might even include watching an episode of a German-language show. Learning German should be useful, but it should also be fun!
