About Morgan
I began helping students learn earth science while I was an undergraduate geology student in 2010 and became a TA for introductory courses. I loved it and was nominated by my professors to begin teaching geology during the summer to rising high school students via a camp offered by my school’s engineering college. The geology sections taught by me were consistently rated as the best by those students, and I was eventually tasked with creating and teaching a two-week summer geology camp for middle and junior high students. I won teaching awards for those camps! As a graduate student, I taught a number of earth science courses: intro to geology, historical geology, earth and the environment, and surficial hydrology. I loved it immensely, and reviews from my students reflected my passion for it and joy in teaching it. My students have said that I’m adept at breaking down complex subjects in ways that are easy to understand and remember!
