About David
I have been teaching Geography and History for 4 years across a variety of schools in Cumbria and Lancashire from KS3 to KS5 levels. I have experience in GCSE and A Level groups across a variety of abilities with students achieving excellent grades with my tutoring. The exam classes have ranged from both top and lower abilities with my teaching style proving effective in building excellent relationships with my students to eliminate any barriers to learning under my tutoring.
I also have vast experience in teaching History with both KS3 and GCSE History groups. I left my previous position with an 85% A*-C pass rate for GCSE History in my previous department.
I have also taught R.E. in some of the schools I have previously worked at, focusing at KS3 level.

I am a Humanities teacher with 4 years of teaching experience who has taught in a variety of contrasting schools across South Cumbria, Lancashire and North Wales. I have experience in teaching KS3, GCSE and A Level Geography groups teaching a variety of both human and physical topics. I also have experience teaching KS3 and GCSE History and KS3 R.E.
My lessons will be one-to-one or small group lessons with a range of different resources and techniques tailored to your individual wants and needs.
I have a very calm, patient and persistent personality and will strive to ensure success in all of my students, both inside and outside of the classroom.

KS3 - £12.50 per hour
GCSE - £15 per hour
KS5 - £17.50 per hour
If my travel is over 20 miles, then I will add a fee of £5 to cover these personal travel costs.
