About Peter
I completed my formal education with degrees from the University of Toronto and Victoria University of Wellington. I've lived and worked in Canada, New Zealand, France, and the US giving me broad experience with people having different backgrounds. In addition to teaching at the high school level for 23 years, I've taught geology courses online and in person as an adjunct professor. I've worked in the paper industry and the personal products industry as a chemist.
I enjoy sailing and playing the ukulele ;-)

I enjoy learning about science and sharing my excitement with my students. I have years of experience working with students to overcome the challenges they are facing. In my experience, it is not that the topic is too difficult but there is a failure to recognize where the misunderstanding has originated. Small group instruction permits us to address each individual's needs.
