About Summer
My name is Summer and I am interested in teaching as I am passionate about my career path and would love to help more people love science. Throughout secondary school and A-levels I did a lot of tutoring with younger students and loved learning new teaching techniques to maximise understanding.

As I am 19 and have recently left school, I am familiar and comfortable with the techniques used in the classroom. I am also up to date with the specifications for subjects as I sat my last set of exams less than 1 year ago. When creating my lesson plans, I create a checklist to ensure we are following the specification and therefore learning the exact content that will be on the exam paper. Personally, I am a visual learner, and find diagrams and drawings useful, however I am happy to adapt to learning styles that best suit you. I also think it's extremely useful to have exam practice and like to prepare exam style questions for students to answer, in order to get a good idea of their understanding of the content.

She is really kind and comprehensive with the students and their difficulties. She’s committed to her work
I highly recommend Summer! She’s knowledgeable, patient, and tailor lessons to your needs. They really helped boost my confidence. Great tutor!
Summer really helped me strengthen my weak topics and explained things very simply, making it easier for us to quickly move on to practice, she was also super patient when it took me longer to understand some topics.
