About Ryan
I am an A-level student studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, with Grade 9s in GCSE Maths and Physics. I have an offer to study Engineering at Durham University and was selected as a The Smallpeice Trust Arkwright Engineering Scholar.
I enjoy solving problems and understanding how maths and physics apply to real-world engineering challenges. Having recently completed GCSEs myself, I understand the difficulties students face and how to explain concepts clearly.
I want to tutor to help students build confidence in challenging topics and improve their exam performance through clear explanations and structured practice.

I offer structured GCSE Maths and Physics tutoring focused on building understanding and exam confidence. In the first session I assess the student’s strengths and areas for improvement so that future lessons can be tailored to their needs.
A typical lesson lasts one hour and combines clear explanations of key concepts with guided practice and independent exam-style questions. I aim to help students not only understand the topic but also develop the problem-solving skills needed for GCSE exams.
Lessons are friendly and supportive, encouraging students to ask questions and build confidence in challenging topics. I am also happy to keep parents updated on progress if desired.
