About Gabriel
Teaching for me is more than just imparting knowledge, facts and figures. It might be a cliché, but I believe in the old adage of not learning for school, but for life. That is why I always approach my lessons with bundles of energy, passion and a drive, aiming to support the student in front of me as effectively as possible. The aim is it to finish a course of lessons with the student having as positive an impression of maths as possible - one that will stay with them for life.

Hello, my name is Gabriel Felder. I’m a north London-based private tutor with Qualified Teacher Status, bringing with me a wealth of experience and expertise. I am pleased to let you know that new time slots are opening for this summer term. Upbeat, friendly, dedicated and effective - just a few adjectives that some of my former parents were generous enough to describe me with. Here is a recent reference from a satisfied mum: Gabriel is experienced, kind, thoughtful and responsive to my son’s needs and has taught him Year 8 curriculum in a way that has engaged and interested my son. He is totally reliable and very committed to teaching young people and can adapt his teaching style to fit the needs of the child. I can highly recommend Gabriel. On offer here are confidence-boosting lessons that make a real difference to students’ progress and overall ease and happiness as learners. I can look back on over a decade of experience in private tuition from KS2 to KS4, specialising in maths, but I am also qualified to teach English, French and German (up to GCSE level.) All students of last year’s Year 11 intake achieved their target grade. Lessons are conducted via the Zoom online platform but can also be arranged to be face-to-face in north London’s Islington and Camden areas. They are 100% tailor-made and carefully crafted towards the learning needs of each individual student. I am happy to answer any further questions you might have.
