About Hamish
I am a recent UK medical school graduate and incoming Foundation Year 1 (FY1) doctor, offering Biology tuition at both GCSE and A-Level.
Biology is a subject that combines detailed knowledge with an understanding of complex processes, and many students find it challenging to balance memorisation with genuine understanding. My goal is to help students develop both, enabling them to improve their confidence, examination technique, and academic performance.
Having studied Biology extensively throughout school, university, and medical training, I can help students understand difficult topics clearly and apply their knowledge effectively in exams.
I offer support with:
• GCSE Biology (AQA, OCR, Edexcel and other major exam boards)
• A-Level Biology
• Exam technique and mark scheme interpretation
• Revision planning and study strategies
• Topic-specific support and consolidation
• Practice questions and exam preparation
