About Faustina
Hi! I'm a friendly and reliable tutor with a strong understanding in the mentioned plays, texts and themes for what AO1,2 and 3 examiners look for when marking essays.
I achieved a good passing grade for English Literature in my GCSEs and now I am currently studying A levels which also require me to use AO1,2,3 in my essay writings. (Sociology, law and criminology)
As a recent GCSE student, I understand what examiners are looking for and how to structure answers effectively.
I am patient, supportive and committed to helping each student make progress and feel more confident in their abilities.

Students who use my lessons will have their learning tailored to their needs and working at level.
My main focus is to build better analysis and essay writing for Macbeth and The Strange Case Of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
As well as the modern text of An Inspector Calls and Poetry on Power and Conflict.
In our lessons, we will:
-learn/revise key quotes as well as analyse them to get as much AO2 for essay writing
-practise exam questions and develop clear answer structures and look into AO1,2 and 3
-practise active recall at the beginning and end of every lesson
I aim to provide a supportive environment where students can feel comfortable asking questions and be able to benefit from my sessions by making progress. I will also set homework which will depend on each student's needs and once the homework is completed I will mark and respond with feedback.
My lessons are typically 1 hour long and done online; however I can adapt lesson length if needed.
My lessons are aimed at GCSE students who are studying:
-Macbeth
-The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde
-An Inspector Calls
-Poetry: Power and Conflict
