About Ian
I’m Ian, I am an A level student right now, currently working towards a career in Medicine/Dentistry, which has strengthened my understanding of Biology, Chemistry and Maths at an advanced level. Having recently completed my own GCSEs with strong results, I understand the current exam boards, common pitfalls and effective revision strategies. My goal is not only to help students achieve top grades, but to build independent study skills that will support them beyond GCSE. Although it might seem I’m less competitive towards the university level students, but I’ve more recent years of GCSE experience so I believe it can benefit more for the student.

I offer structured GCSE lessons in Biology, Chemistry and Maths (Foundation & Higher), with additional support available for Geography. My lessons focus on:
• Clear explanation of difficult concepts
• Exam technique and mark scheme understanding
• Past paper practice and model answers
• Active recall and spaced repetition methods I tailor each session to the student’s current level, whether they are aiming to pass confidently or achieve Grades 8–9.
Students will receive targeted homework, revision summaries and exam-style questions to consolidate learning between sessions.

I aim to deliver high-quality sessions that build both understanding and confidence, rather than simple homework help.
