About Patrick
Hi there! I'm Patrick and I love everything about literature! So much so, that I study it in TWO languages (English and Spanish), at The University of Manchester.
I want to help other students find their passion for English Literature and Language, just like me.
I am a dedicated student and hard worker, who knows how to get good marks on exams.
I am patient and understanding, and I will push you to achieve your best.
I achieved:
- Grade 9 English Literature and Language GCSE,
- 'A' in English Literature at A-level,
and consistently achieve First Class grades in English Literature and Spanish at the University of Manchester.
I have tutored for GCSE and taught English as a foreign language.
I can present a Basic DBS Certificate upon request.
Outside uni, I enjoy playing the drums, going hiking and dancing tango! I am also fluent in Spanish.

I offer 30 minute to 1 hour lessons in English Literature and Language skills for GCSE and A-level.
A flexible lesson structure that focuses on your needs, and based on my own first-hand experiences as an English student.
We would look at a combination of practice exams, theme analysis and quote revision. We would make and organise your notes to boost your knowledge and help you create the most effective revision resources. It is a lot to remember! Let's make it simple.
I focus specifically on AO4 and AO5, which are essential to achieve the top grades.
