About Ayesha
Hello, my name is Ayesha. I am a gap year student who's just finished her A levels and has applied to university to study medicine. I aspire to help students, because I know how challenging studying for exams can be, but it is not impossible! I want to help students love the subjects that they are learning and go above and beyond, for example, during a levels I took part in the chemistry olympiad and achieved bronze. I am confident that my skills will make me a great tutor, having had many experiences in communication and leadership. I have worked in carehomes, volunteered in charity shops, fundraised etc, and believe the communication skills I have gained will be very important when establishing a rapport with my students! :) Some of my hobbies include playing the piano, painting portraits and landscapes and playing cricket and badminton!

Before each lesson, I will give ask the student what topic they would like me to teach. Before starting the topic with them, I will aim to grasp how much they already understand the topic so that I can tailor my lesson to their best interests. I will regularly encourage them to ask questions and ensure they're on the same page as me. I will go through exam questions of that particular topic every lesson to consolidate the student's knowledge, and if a topic is particularly hard, I will give a small homework task which I will go through with them the next lesson. Each lesson will be 1 hour. I achieved A*AAB in a level psychology, chemistry, biology and core maths respectively, and (concealed information) in my GCSEs. My lessons will be aimed at AS level chemistry and biology students, and A level psychology students.
