About Rafferty
I have tutored students in all sections of the GAMSAT to great success.
I have also tutored students in high school subjects for ~2 years (English, math methods and specialist, sciences, Japanese).
I am an experienced debater having won the 2021 Queensland Debating Union competition as third speaker which has helped me particularly in methods of constructing logical arguments - this has helped greatly with my section 2 GAMSAT score.
I have experience coaching debating to students as well. My debating experience gave me a unique approach to the GAMSAT section 2, which I hope to impart on my students here.

I am a current medical student at the University of Sydney.
I scored in the 98th percentile on the GAMSAT, but particularly well in Section 2 (81).
Many prospective medical students do well in the science sections but struggle to articulate their ideas well in the essays (S2).
I have helped many students with advice in all areas of the GAMSAT but particularly section 2.
I am an experienced debater having won the Queensland Debating Union competition in 2021 as third speaker - I believe this experience has helped me with solid frameworks of organizing logical arguments and ideas. This was a lot of help in my GAMSAT preparation and will be of a lot of help to any students struggling with section 2.
I'm happy to work through all sections of the GAMSAT but particularly Section 2 - to discuss how to create essay plans, write good sentences and to provide feedback on essays the students have written as well.
