About Ben
I am a doctor with a strong passion for medical education and dementia research. Alongside my clinical training, I have completed a master’s degree in dementia studies and have been involved in teaching medical students in the lower years for several years. I particularly enjoy supporting and inspiring the next generation of doctors and am passionate about making medical education engaging, accessible and evidence-based. I have presented my research at several national neurology and psychiatry conferences and have a strong academic background, having been ranked first overall for exam performance within my medical school.
Outside of medicine, I spend most of my time outdoors, hiking and wild swimming, as well as watching rugby!

For OSCE preparation, we'll go through common and high yield clinical scenarios, practice communication and examination skills, and work on structuring your answers clearly and confidently.
For written medical exams, I focus sessions on consolidating core knowledge, breaking down complex topics, and practising exam style questions and clinical scenarios with effective strategies.
If you're preparing for medical school interviews, we'll run mock interviews, work on refining your answers and build your confidence in presenting yourself professionally.
My sessions are interactive, supportive, and designed to help you feel prepared, not just academically but also mentally. My goal is to help you feel fully supported every step of the way, no matter where you are in your medical journey!

Perfect! Ben has been an absolutely fantastic tutor and played a huge part in helping me successfully pass all of my medical school exams. He is incredibly thorough, knowledgeable and always made sure I properly understood a topic rather than simply memorising the information.

Ben is a fantastic teacher as he has both the passion and the knowledge to help his fellow peers achieve the best grades possible.
Being a second year medical student, Ben has been doing weekly OSCE sessions with us where, he has been making OSCE scenarios and challenging our clinical and scientific knowledge.
His lecture slides are clearly laid out, the lecture content is specific and in depth for our medical course and he has the ability to explain challenging concepts in an easy-to-follow manner.
Getting taught by Ben does not feel tiering and boring-- his lessons are interactive and very engaging, allowing us to learn
medicine whilst enjoying the process!
Ben is an extremely intelligent and laid back individual. Learning from him is something myself and my peers look forward to every week and we always come out of his sessions more confident and knowledgeable in our clinical and scientific knowledge.I’m a second year medical student. Ben has given me teaching on physiology, cardiovascular and neurological systems. He has been an excellent source of information as he is very knowledgeable.
