About Julia
I am a History major at Stony Brook University pursuing a Fast Track Master's in Teaching for Social Studies education, with minors in Creative Writing and Anthropology. I have three years of volunteer tutoring experience and have worked with elementary, middle, and high school students. My experience includes helping students strengthen their understanding of academic subjects, develop effective study habits, prepare for assessments, and improve their writing skills, including AP U.S. History preparation. I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building skills, and gaining confidence in their abilities. As a future educator, I am passionate about making learning engaging, accessible, and meaningful for every student.
