About Imran
Hi, I'm Imran, an Aerospace Engineering with Pilot Studies student at UWE Bristol.
Maths is at the heart of everything I do, from designing aircraft to learning to fly, and I love showing children that maths isn't scary. It's how real things work! I often use examples from planes and flying to help ideas click and keep lessons exciting.
I'm patient, friendly and encouraging, and I know every child learns differently. My goal is for your child to leave each lesson feeling more confident than when they started.
I tutor online only, with flexible availability on evenings and weekends around my studies.

My online lessons are for primary school children (Years 3 to 6) who want to build confidence in maths or prepare for the 11+ exam.
Every lesson is one-to-one and tailored to your child. First, I find out what they already know and what they find tricky, then plan lessons around their needs, whether that's times tables, fractions, problem solving, SATs practice or 11+ maths.
Lessons are fun, patient and interactive. We use a shared online whiteboard so your child can work through problems with me step by step, and sessions are 45 to 60 minutes so they stay focused.
After each lesson, I give parents a quick update on what we covered and what to practise next.
All your child needs is a laptop or tablet with a camera and microphone.
