About Emma
Hello! My name is Emma, and I am passionate about helping young students grow in both their learning and confidence. I have hands-on experience working in an elementary classroom through my school's Work-Based Learning program, where I assist students with reading, math, writing, classroom activities, and one-on-one support.
I am patient, encouraging, and believe that every child can succeed when they are given the right support and a positive learning environment. My goal is to make learning enjoyable while helping students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities.
As a future kindergarten teacher, I am committed to creating engaging lessons that meet each student's individual needs. Hi! My name is Emma, and I am a future kindergarten teacher with hands-on experience working in an elementary classroom through my school's Work-Based Learning program. I have spent time helping students with reading, math, writing, and classroom activities, which has taught me how every child learns differently.
My goal is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I believe that building confidence is just as important as teaching the material, so I use patience, positive reinforcement, and fun, interactive activities to keep students engaged.
A typical lesson begins by reviewing what the student already knows, identifying any areas they are struggling with, and then working through new concepts step by step. I like to include games, hands-on activities, practice problems, and plenty of encouragement to make learning enjoyable. At the end of each lesson, we'll review what was learned and discuss anything that may need extra practice.
What sets me apart is my real classroom experience and my passion for working with children. As someone preparing to become a teacher, I understand the importance of adapting lessons to each student's individual needs and learning style.
My lessons are best suited for preschool through 5th-grade students who need help with reading, math, writing, homework, study skills, or simply building confidence in the classroom. Whether your child needs extra support or wants to get ahead, I am excited to help them reach their goals in a fun and supportive way.
