About Montana (Montie)
I grew up as someone who would have ran a marathon on stilts before wanting to sit down with someone (a tutor), and divulge my learning problems to them. I was really insecure about my inability to understand some subjects and their coursework. So, as i got older and became more confident in my learning abilities, i started to help others who experienced the same problems i had. It’s a gift to be able to understand an insecurity and help someone feel less ashamed of it, and I enjoy being able to use that gift. I STILL struggle with things in school, but that’s exactly what school is for. No one goes into it knowing everything! That would defeat the purpose of learning.
I would love to create a trusted and comfortable connection with someone struggling with those same insecurities. Hopefully, that’s you!

I enjoy helping others unlock the confidence within themselves to learn the hard stuff. I believe in positive reinforcement and redirection, negative reinforcement and punishment are not words I would use to describe my style. I want you to feel comfortable, confident, and excited to learn something you don’t understand. I understand the anxiety that comes with asking for help, and that’s why i’m doing what i’m doing now! I want to keep you from feeling that anxiety during our lessons!
