About Victoria
I am a pianist with over 17 years experience playing the piano. Growing up in Canada, I completed exams through the Royal Conservatory of Music. These include receiving honours in Basic History Theory and Elementary Pedagogy, and first class honours in Basic Harmony Theory and Grade 8 piano. After completing my Elementary Pedagogy course, I began teaching beginner piano to all ages five years ago.

My teaching methodology is that there is no 'one size fits all' approach to lessons. What may work for one student, may not work for another. I strive to get to know my students, understand how best they learn, and tailor my lessons to them. Apart from just teaching the basics, it is very important to me that piano lessons are something the student enjoys. This could be by incorporating games and technology into lessons, or making sure students are learning music they want to. I am always researching the latest trends in piano teaching to ensure I am ready to help students meet their musical goals and have fun at the same time.
