About Eleanor
I am passionate about inspiring confident musicians who are excited by what they are learning and the new skills they are gaining.
I am a theatre artist as well as musician, so the sense of story telling in musicianship, and confident performing is something I prioritize with my students. That said, it is important to work within your comfort levels.

Lessons with me are fun and engaging. I prioritize learning music that you are motivated by. We will do a mix of technique, musicality, improvisation, sight reading, and ear training so help you become a well rounded musician.
I have my Grade 8 RCME and Grade 2 Theory RCME (Canadian equivalents to ABRSM grades). I have been teaching private lessons for ages 4 and up for the last three years, and have spent two years teaching groups at Muswell Young Musicians.
For young students particularly, I ensure lessons are varied and engaging, and work with families to find out how to support them to play at home between lessons.
Lessons are 30, 45, or 60 mins, depending on student age and ability. I welcome students who are beginner and intermediate (up to Grade 6 ABRSM), ages 4 and up.
