I have a music education and performance degree from Montana State University. Performance degree in classical guitar, but I play all styles. I also teach voice, piano, and saxophone. I've been doing private lessons with guitar and voice for 5 years

My teaching approach is making sure that the lesson material is fun and engaging. With my background I am big on music theory and ear training. With new students I want them to play material they enjoy so they can play stuff that makes them happy. I'll gradually pick more difficult music and exercises as the student gets more comfortable.
