About Rachel
Hi, I’m Rachel! I’m a passionate primary school teacher from Scotland with seven years of teaching experience and a real love for helping children reach their full potential. I specialise in maths, science, reading, and spelling, and I believe the best learning happens when children feel happy, supported, and confident.
Outside of teaching, I’m a proud mum to my little boy, who keeps me on my toes and reminds me every day how curious and capable young children are. Being a parent has given me an even greater appreciation for the importance of patience, encouragement, and celebrating every achievement, no matter how small.
I enjoy keeping active, spending time outdoors, travelling, and making the most of family adventures. I bring that same energy and positivity into my lessons, creating a fun, relaxed environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and developing a genuine love of learning. My goal is not only to help children improve academically but also to help them believe in themselves and enjoy the learning journey.

My online lessons are engaging, supportive, and tailored to each learner’s individual needs. I create a positive environment where children feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes, and celebrate their progress. With eight years of primary teaching experience, I use clear explanations, interactive activities, and practical strategies to make learning enjoyable and effective. Whether supporting maths, reading, spelling, or science, I adapt lessons to suit each child’s pace, learning style, and goals. Every session is designed to build confidence, deepen understanding, and develop a genuine love of learning, helping students achieve lasting success both in school and beyond.
