About Gillian
Hello, my name is Gillian Styles, I am from Ireland, I have lived in Australia now for over 10 years. I am a primary school teacher. I love to teach students, I love helping them to learn tricky things.
I love to teach children how to read using phonic sounds. I also love to teach essay/creative writing.
I am a musical and arty person so creative writing is a lot of fun when you use your imagination, it is a different type of art! :)

My personal approach with teaching is to make learning as fun as possible. I try to achieve this by getting to know the student and their interests. Then I can hopefully use their interests to help encourage the student to achieve their personal best.
