About George
My name is George Morris, and I have teaching experience both in the United Kingdom and internationally across Europe. Working with children and helping them overcome challenges in education is something I genuinely care deeply about, and one of the reasons I am so passionate about teaching.
I have a particular passion for early literacy and have specialised in phonics instruction, supporting children as they build the foundations needed to become confident, capable readers. I take pride in helping reluctant readers rediscover enjoyment in books, often by developing strong phonological awareness and carefully selecting texts that reflect each child’s individual interests and personality.
I believe learning should always be engaging, meaningful, and enjoyable. My goal is not only to help children make academic progress, but also to build confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning that extends far beyond the lesson itself.

I strive to put fun and active learning at the core of every lesson. Through meaningful experiences, I allow each student to explore new concepts, and grow in confidence. Children leave my lessons not only knowing the what, but also the why, naturally forming deeper level thinking in all subject areas.
