About Lauren
I am a fully qualified Primary School Teacher (Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Education from The University of Glasgow) providing online lessons in all aspects of the primary curriculum. I can teach the English National Curriculum KS1 and KS2, and the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence Early Level, First Level and Second Level.
I have three years of classroom teaching experience, teaching across all primary ages and stages. Being fairly newly qualified, I am fully up to date with current teaching practices that are designed to best meet the individual needs of all learners.
I also have 4 years experience of teaching English as a second language, working with both adults and children.
I am passionate about teaching and love what I do! My love for learning is something that I aim to transfer onto the children I teach by creating lessons that are engaging and enjoyable. My goal is to help your child reach their full learning potential and to help them feel confident and prepared for secondary school. I am up to date with the latest teaching methodologies, and continually review my practice by attending training courses.

Hi, I’m Lauren! I am a fully qualified primary teacher with an enhanced DBS/CRB check and over 3 years of experience teaching children from the age ranges of 5 -11years. I am experienced in teaching both the English National Curriculum (KS1 and KS2) and the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence (Early Level, First Level and Second Level). If you feel your child needs additional support or needs extra challenge with any subject within the primary curriculum, then please get in touch!

Having taught children with a wide range of different learning styles, I always tailor my teaching practice to best meet the needs of the individual child.
