About Ben
I was born and raised in the SW of Western Australia and lived in Japan for 12 years. I've worked as a language tutor in both countries, a high school teacher in both Japan and Australia, and a university lecturer in Japan. There are few if any non-native speakers of Japanese who can match my fluency in the SW region. I have a passion for language learning that I love to share with others. Students often report that I am passionate and enthusiastic, but kind and patient in my approach.
