About Amy
My name is Amy and I am 18 years old. I am currently studying in an academy as a full time Ballet student. I have been doing ballet since the age of four and would love to share my passion by passing along my knowledge and experience. I have passed all my RAD grades, finishing with a distinction in grade 8 as well as in Intermediate.
I have successfully auditioned and performed with English Youth Ballet on three occasions (Cinderella in Hollywood, Giselle, Swan Lake) and I will be performing the Nutcracker with them again in November and I have also took part in smaller shows directed by my previous dance school. Throughout all of these, I have managed to work my way up to solos and duets as well as corps de ballet roles. Please do not hesitate if you have any questions. :)

I am currently a full time ballet student and would love to work with students up to the age of 13, to share with them all the knowledge and experienced I have learnt and still learning in all my years of training since the age of 4. There are so many things to think about for each movement that sometimes the class goes by too quickly or there wasn't enough time to focus on what the student really wants to work on or improve on due to the amount of people in a class, that I want to be able to be that extra help to allow them to focus on what they wish. I have passed my Intermediate Royal Academy of Dance Exam with a distinction which is the exam which shows you have the level to teach, and I have helped out in shows and classes to teach and train students along side of my teacher in my dance school. I love working with students who share my passion for ballet and who are willing to try their best all the time and I am willing to work with any level of ballet. :) I will always work with a positive and motivational mind set and I feel that it is very important for the students to feel confident and at ease.
