About Alexa
For the last seven years, I've dedicated myself to helping students unlock their potential in mathematics. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education, but my real passion comes from demystifying numbers and making them accessible to everyone. My teaching philosophy is simple: with patience, encouragement, and a personalized approach, any student can excel. I was incredibly honored to be named "Tutor of the Year" in 2022 by a local educational foundation, an award that recognized my commitment to student growth. The most rewarding part of my job is witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks for a student. Hello! In my one-on-one online lessons, my primary goal is to transform math from a subject of stress into one of success. I use a digital whiteboard to work through problems together in real-time, just as if we were in the same room. My focus is on building your foundational skills and critical thinking, so you'll not only be prepared for your next exam but for all future challenges.
