About Rakshita
I’m Rakshita Verma (Call me RV) – part yogi, part cheerleader, and part “don’t worry, we’ll get there” coach. Seasoned and slightly obsessed with making yoga fun, I’ve guided total beginners, busy professionals, and bendy show-offs alike. My classes are equal parts stretch, sweat, and snort-laugh. I believe yoga isn’t about touching your toes – it’s about what you learn while trying. If you want a teacher who will cheer you on, correct your form, and occasionally crack a bad joke in downward dog, we’ll get along beautifully.

My yoga classes blend mindful breathing, gentle alignment cues, and a dash of humour to keep you engaged. Lessons are typically 60 minutes, tailored to your goals and pace. With experience teaching all ages and abilities, I create a safe, supportive space where beginners feel comfortable and advanced students stay challenged. Whether you’re seeking flexibility, stress relief, or better posture, my approach adapts to you.
I offer one-of sessions for your girl-besties to enjoy a refreshing morning at the beach or the Auckland viaduct.

I wasn’t into yoga before I met Rakshita. I work a desk job, and honestly just wanted something to help with my stiff shoulders and constant tension. RV’s lessons surprised me. She’s straightforward, and really focuses on what your body needs. The sessions aren’t easy, but they’re doable, and I’ve noticed my back feels better and I’m sleeping more soundly. It’s not about being perfect. She makes it clear yoga is for everyone, not just the super bendy people. If you’re sceptical like I was, give her a go. It’s made a real difference.
