Hayley and I were in the same lab during our PhD years at The University of Nottingham. We worked on a few collaborations together where our work overlapped. I found her to be incredibly knowledgeable in plant biology and physiology, and also super fun!

Whenever she did a presentation or a talk at university and conferences, she always struck me with her calm eloquence at articulating complex subjects, and that her passion for what she was researching really came through in her voice.
