About Charlotte
Hiya, I’m Charlotte! I am a friendly, patient, empathetic and supportive tutor who has recently completed my A-Levels, including English Language. As a recent student myself, I understand how stressful exams and coursework can feel, and I enjoy helping students build confidence and reach their potential in a calm and encouraging environment.
I have a strong understanding of GCSE and KS3 English, including essay writing, language analysis, comprehension, grammar and exam technique. I believe learning should feel approachable rather than overwhelming, and I aim to adapt lessons to suit each student’s individual learning style and pace.
I am reliable, organised and passionate about helping students improve both their confidence and academic ability. Whether a student needs extra support, help preparing for exams or simply wants to improve their English skills, I strive to make lessons engaging, positive and productive.

I offer friendly and supportive English tutoring for KS3 and GCSE students, tailored to each student’s individual needs and confidence level. Having recently completed my A-Levels, I have up-to-date knowledge of exam techniques, essay writing, language analysis and revision methods, allowing me to relate well to students and understand current specifications.
My teaching approach is patient, encouraging and personalised. I aim to make lessons engaging and stress-free while building confidence and improving grades. I can help with areas such as essay structure, exam preparation, creative and analytical writing, comprehension skills, spelling, grammar and revision strategies.
Lessons would typically last around 1 hour, although this can be flexible depending on the student’s needs. I am happy to support students who need extra confidence, exam preparation or ongoing help with schoolwork.
My lessons are aimed at KS3 and GCSE students of all abilities, whether they are aiming to improve confidence in English or work towards higher grades.
